Castália has established itself as one of Brasília's leading names in artisanal baking, later expanding into specialty coffee and pizza while maintaining the same commitment to quality and craftsmanship. In 2026, the brand set out to unify these different offerings under a single identity that reflected its origins and the values that have guided it since the beginning.

Together with Uirá Ryker, I was invited to lead the rebrand, developing a visual identity system capable of unifying the bakery, café and pizzeria under a single visual language. The project focused on translating the brand's principles of quality, honesty and transparency into a cohesive and flexible design language.

The rebrand was guided more by translation than reinvention. The concept for Castália Oficina, a new space where the production kitchen shares the same floor as the dining area and invites customers into the artisanal process, inspired the visual language and reinforced the brand's commitment to transparency and craftsmanship.

A lighter palette built around white and soft grays, contrasted by Castália's signature red, brought a renewed sense of freshness while preserving its recognizability. At the center of the identity is the custom-designed C Ômega, inspired by the Greek myth behind the brand's name. Combined with the expressive use of GC16 and Serif Mono, and a restrained graphic system designed to elevate the products rather than the brand itself, the identity creates a visual language that feels refined, flexible and quietly confident.
